Frequently Asked Questions

How do cohorts work?

Cohorts open every 6–8 weeks. You’ll join a small group, attend live sessions if available, and share weekly playtest updates. All lessons are also watch-anytime.

Do I need special software or a 3D printer?

No. We focus on paper prototyping and common tools like spreadsheets and vector editors. Optional modules cover 3D parts for those who want them.

What is your refund policy?

If a course is not a fit, request a refund within 14 days of purchase and before completing 30% of the content. Cohort fees are refundable up to 7 days before start.

Will I get 1:1 feedback?

Select tracks include mentor reviews and office hours. All learners can post updates to receive community feedback with clear guidelines for constructive critique.

Do you provide certificates?

Yes, you’ll receive a completion certificate outlining skills practiced and outcomes demonstrated. We emphasize portfolios over grades.

Can you help with publishers or crowdfunding?

We teach realistic pathways to pitch, license, or self-publish. We do not promise funding or sales; we provide planning tools and ethical marketing practices.

How much time should I budget each week?

Expect 3–5 hours for lessons and playtests. Bigger sprints may require 6–8 hours. Our planners help you make steady, humane progress.

Is there a community code of conduct?

Yes. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, hate, or exploitation. Feedback must be specific, kind, and focused on the work, not the person.
